My name is Dominique, i’m a senior at Radford University majoring in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in marketing, and i’m making this blog for my social media marketing class. I’ve always loved fashion and shopping which is why I chose to major in fashion merchandising, My dream job would be, to be a visual merchandiser or buyer for a big company. A visual merchandiser is someone who does the floor layouts for a store and window displays which will boost sales and grab customers attention. A buyer is someone who goes out and buys the clothing for the store! A lot of people are not aware of what visual merchandising is or other related jobs in fashion. I personally like a lot of different styles, my go to has always been classy/classic but I also like to play around with new trendy pieces as well. Some of my favorite designers include Coco Chanel, Oscar De La Renta, Michael Kors ,and Jimmy Choo. This blog will consist of in depth current fashion trends, how to style looks, famous fashion designers, interview looks and different jobs in the fashion industry!
