Dressing up your basic leggings and sweatshirt!

As a senior in college this year, majoring in fashion merchandising I have seen and worn a lot of different outfits to class! everyone thinks that college fashion is leggings and sweatshirts…..boring. But there are many ways to be trendy chic and comfortable while attending your university! lets admit we’ve all been in a situation where our class is at 8am but you wake up at 7:00am so you don’t have much time to get ready. Of course leggings and a sweatshirt are your go to but there are different ways to dress that up! The first way you can do that, is adding a cute bennie and a sweatshirt with a cute saying! by doing this its a very effortless look that makes you look put together.

The next look you could do with leggings and a sweatshirt is layering!! layering a sherpa jacket over a hoodie is a cute and cozy look! You can then add comfortable boyfriend jeans to replace the leggings, and a slick back pony tail or messy bun! also adding a comfortable pair of sneakers instead of ugg boots can automatically change the look!

Lets talk about UGGS

UGG boots have been a fashion trend that i’ve really grown to love since being in college they are quick, easy and really warm and comfortable! But if were being real they are not the most attractive shoes…. but Uggs have really made multiple styles of shoes that are more stylish than the traditional UGG boot. Here are some newer cute styles and ways to style the old ones!

Styling legging

leggings are my favorite and they’re many ways to style them without looking comfortable/lazy. One way is with a nice oversize jean jacket! Also a nice puffer vest with slide on shoes or sneakers. One of my Favorited ways to wear it is with a cute comfortable dressy sweater and some slides.

Leather jacket

leather jackets are another really popular trend in college, not only is it used for going out but staying warm going to class. I’ve seen a lot of people both men and women pair them with hoodies for a edgy look! I’ve also seen them pair with cute jeans while going out!

Sweat pants

Sweatpants are a common favorite among college campus for both women and men. This laid back style can also look really good if styled correctly ! personally my favorite way is with a jean jacket!
